IGNITE is seeking a dynamic, motivated, results-driven and skilled sales engineer to manage and grow the sales of instruments and
Automation
systems within the Egyptian market. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with sales expertise to support clients in industries such as O&G, Manufacturing, and Utilities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in turn-key project at Automation system (PLC, SCADA, DCS) , field instruments and solar systems.
• Identify and engage in new business opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and expand the client base within the instrumentation industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and present proposals tailored to customer needs.
Technical Expertise
• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate instrumentation solutions for their specific requirements, ensuring technical accuracy and value alignment.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in field instruments.
Project Involvement
• Collaborate with project teams to support the successful implementation of instrumentation solutions in large-scale projects.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to address project-specific challenges and ensure timely delivery.
Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, providing exceptional after-sales support.
• Manage the sales pipeline effectively and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress.
Market Research and Strategy
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs within the instrumentation sector.
• Provide feedback to the product development team to align Ignite’s offerings with market demands.
• Monitor market trends and identify business opportunities within the Egyptian market.
• Gather competitive intelligence to support strategic sales planning.
Administrative Duties:
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, accurate sales forecasts, and requested activity reports.
• Proven ability to use enterprise systems ERP / CRM.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Instrumentation, Electronics, Process, or a related field.
• Experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on automation and field instruments.
• Experience in large-scale industrial projects is a considerable plus.
• Technical Skills
• Knowledge of industrial sectors such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, and OEM is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales forecasting.
• Soft Skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Results-driven mindset with excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
